ആനന്ദത്തിന്റെ വസന്തത്തിൽ ദാമ്പത്യ വല്ലരിയിൽ മൊട്ടിട്ടു തുടങ്ങി. മുത്ത് നബിﷺയുടെ പത്നി ബീവി ഖദീജ(റ) ഗർഭവതിയായി. രണ്ടു പേർക്കും സന്തോഷം ഇരട്ടിച്ചു. ചരിത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രബലാഭിപ്രായ പ്രകാരം മുഹമ്മദ്ﷺ ഖദീജ(റ) ദമ്പതികൾക്ക് ആറു മക്കൾ ജനിച്ചു. രണ്ടാൺമക്കളും നാല് പെൺമക്കളും.
ആദ്യമായി ജനിച്ച മകന് അൽഖാസിം എന്ന് നാമകരണം ചെയ്തു. അതോടെ നബിﷺ ഖാസിമിന്റെ പിതാവ് 'അബുൽ ഖാസിം' എന്ന് കൂടി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. പക്ഷേ അധികനാൾ കണ്ടനുഭവിക്കാൻ നിയോഗമുണ്ടായില്ല. രണ്ടു വയസ്സായപ്പോഴേക്കും ഖാസിം മരണപ്പെട്ടു. ജന്മനാ അനാഥത്വത്തിന്റെയും ആറാം വയസ്സിൽ ഉമ്മ മരണപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെയും വേദന സഹിച്ചതാണല്ലോ മുത്ത് നബിﷺ. ഇപ്പോഴിതാ മൂത്ത പുത്രൻ കുഞ്ഞു പ്രായത്തിൽ തന്നെ വിയോഗം തേടിയതിന്റെ ദുഃഖവും അവിടുന്ന് കടിച്ചിറക്കി. ഉടമയുടെ വിധിനിർണയങ്ങളിൽ അടിമ എങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ തൃപ്തിപ്പെടണമെന്ന് സ്വന്തം ജീവിതത്തിൽ കാണിച്ചു തന്നു. ഖദീജ(റ)യെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു. ഖാസിമിന്റെ വിയോഗം രണ്ടു വയസ്സിലല്ല ഒട്ടകത്തിൽ കയറാൻ മാത്രം പ്രായമായതിന് ശേഷമാണ് എന്ന അഭിപ്രായവും കൂടി ചരിത്രത്തിലുണ്ട്.
രണ്ടാമത് ജനിച്ചത് മകൾ സൈനബ്(റ) ആണെന്നാണ് പ്രബലാഭിപ്രായം. മുത്ത് നബിﷺക്ക് അന്ന് മുപ്പത് വയസ്സായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് ഇബ്നു അബദുൽ ബർറ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. സൈനബ്(റ) മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്കൊപ്പം ആനന്ദത്തോടെ വളർന്നു. വലുതായപ്പോൾ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചയച്ചു. ഖദീജ(റ)യുടെ പിതൃസഹോദരന്റെ മകൻ അബുൽ ആസ് ബിൻ റബീആയിരുന്നു വരൻ. അവർക്ക് അലി എന്ന മകനും ഉമാമ എന്ന മകളും ജനിച്ചു. അലി ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ തന്നെ മരണമടഞ്ഞു. മുത്ത് നബിﷺയുടെ മകൾ ഫാത്വിമ(റ)യുടെ വിയോഗാനന്തരം ഭർത്താവ് അലി(റ) ഉമാമയെ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു. അത് ഫാത്വിമ(റ)യുടെ മുൻകൂട്ടിയുള്ള നിർദേശ പ്രകാരമായിരുന്നു.
സൈനബ് (റ) പ്രാരംഭത്തിൽ തന്നെ ഇസ്‌ലാം അനുസരിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവ് അബുൽ ആസ് അംഗീകരിച്ചില്ല. സൈനബ് (റ)മദീനയിലേക്ക് പലായനം ചെയ്തു. ഉപ്പയോടൊപ്പം ചേർന്നു. അബുൽ ആസ് ബദ്റിൽ മുസ്‌ലിം വിരുദ്ധ പക്ഷത്തായിരുന്നു. യുദ്ധത്തിൽ മുസലിംകൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ബന്ധിയാക്കി. തടവിൽ നിന്ന് വിട്ടയച്ച ശേഷമാണ് സൈനബി(റ)നെ മദീനയിലേക്ക് പലായനത്തിനനുവദിച്ചത്. പിന്നെയും വർഷങ്ങൾ കടന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ഇസ്‌ലാം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. സൈനബ് (റ)നോടൊപ്പം ജീവിച്ചു. പക്ഷേ നീണ്ടു നിന്നില്ല. ഹിജ്റയുടെ എട്ടാം വർഷം മുത്ത്നബിﷺയുടെ കാലത്ത് തന്നെ മരണപ്പെട്ടു. മുത്ത് നബിﷺക്ക് മുപ്പത്തി മൂന്ന് വയസ്സായപ്പോൾ മൂന്നാമത്തെ സന്തതി റുഖിച്ച ജനിച്ചു. വളർന്നു വലുതായപ്പോൾ അബൂലഹബിന്റെ മകൻ ഉത്ബയുമായി വിവാഹം നടന്നു. എന്നാൽ മധുവിധുവിന് മുമ്പ് തന്നെ ഉത്ബ വിവാഹ മോചനം നടത്തി. പിതാവ് അബൂലഹബിന്റെ നിർബന്ധപ്രകാരമായിരുന്നു അത്. പിന്നീട് അവരെ ഉസ്മാൻ ബിൻ അഫ്ഫാൻ(റ)വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു. മഹതി ആദ്യനാളുകളിൽ തന്നെ ഇസ്‌ലാം സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും മദീനയിലേക്ക് പലായനം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു. റുഖിയ്യ ഉസ്മാൻ(റ) ദമ്പതികൾക്ക് അബ്ദുല്ല എന്ന ഒരാൺകുഞ്ഞ് ജനിച്ചു. പക്ഷേ ആറാം വയസ്സിൽ പരലോകം പ്രാപിച്ചു. ഹിജ്റയുടെ രണ്ടാം വർഷം ബദർ യുദ്ധാനന്തരം മദീനയിൽ വെച്ച് ബീവി റുഖിയ്യ(റ)യും മരണപ്പെട്ടു. ഇരുപത് വയസ്സായിരുന്നു അന്ന് മഹതിയുടെ പ്രായം. ബീവിയെ ആദ്യം വിവാഹം ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ഉത്ബ മക്കാവിജയ ദിവസം ഇസ്‌ലാം സ്വീകരിച്ചു.
മുത്ത് നബി ﷺ യുടെ നാലാമത്തെ സന്തതിയായി മകൾ ഉമ്മു കുൽസൂം(റ) പിറന്നു. അബൂലഹബിന്റെ മകൻ ഉത്വൈബത് വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു. മധുവിധുവിന്റെ മുമ്പ് തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹം വിവാഹമോചനം ചെയ്തു. പിതാവിന്റെ സമ്മർദ്ദ പ്രകാരമായിരുന്നു അത്. ഉതൈബത് നബിﷺയുടെ വിരുദ്ധ പക്ഷത്ത് സജീവമായി. അലോസരകരമായ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തു. പിന്നീട് അതിന്റെ ദുഃഖ ഫലങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ബീവി റുഖിയ്യ( റ)യുടെ വിയോഗാനന്തരം ഉമ്മുകുൽസൂമി(റ)നെ ഉസ്മാൻ(റ) വിന് വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു കൊടുത്തു. ഹിജ്റ യുടെ മൂന്നാം വർഷമായിരുന്നു, റബീഉൽ അവ്വലിലായിരുന്നു അത്. എന്നാൽ ആ ജീവിതത്തിന് അധികം ധൈർഘ്യമുണ്ടായില്ല. ഹിജ്റ ഒൻപതാം വർഷം ഉമ്മുകുൽസും(റ) ശഅബാനിൽ മരണമടഞ്ഞു. ഈ സമയത്ത് ഉസ്മാൻ(റ) നെ പുകഴ്ത്തി ക്കൊണ്ട് നബിﷺഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു. "എനിക്ക് പത്ത് പെൺമക്കൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഒന്നിന് പിറകെ ഒന്ന് എന്ന ക്രമത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ഉസ്മാനിന് വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു നൽകുമായിരുന്നു."

In the spring of happy married life the flowers began to bud. The beloved wife of the Prophetﷺ, Khadeeja became pregnant. The happiness of the couples doubled. According to the dominant opinion of history, six children were born to Muhammadﷺ and Khadeeja couple. Two sons and four daughters.
The first born son was named Al Qasim. Then the father of Qasim was also called 'Abul Qasim'ﷺ. Qasim passed away when he was two years old. The Prophet Muhammadﷺ endured the pain of orphanage at birth and the death of his mother at the age of six. He also suffered the grief of the death of his eldest son at an early age. He showed in his own life how a slave of Allah should be satisfied with the judgment of his Owner. He comforted Khadeeja. History also has the opinion that Qasim's death was not at the age of two but after he was old enough to ride upon a camel.
The prevailing opinion is that the daughter Zainab was born second. Ibn Abd al-Barr recorded that the Prophetﷺ was thirty years old at that time. Zainab grew up happily with her parents. When she grew up, she got married. The groom was Abul Aaz bin Rabeeu, the son of Khadeeja's paternal uncle. They had a son named Ali and a daughter named Umama. Ali died at a young age. After the death of the daughter of the Prophetﷺ, Fatima (RA), Ali (RA) married Umama.
Zainab (RA) accepted Islam from the very beginning. But her husband Abul Aas did not agree. Zainab went to Madeena and joined father. Abul Aas was on the anti-Muslim side in the battle of "Badar". He was captured by the Muslims during the war. After being released from bondage, Zainab was allowed to go to Madeena. Years passed. He accepted Islam. Lived with Zainab (RA) but not for long. He died in the eighth year of Hijra during the time of the Prophetﷺ.(History of Abul Aas will come later)
When the Prophetﷺ was thirty-three years old, his third child, Ruqiyya, was born. When she grew up, she married Utba, the son of Abu Lahab, but Utba divorced him before the honeymoon. It was on the insistence of his father Abu Lahab. Later she was married by Usman bin Affan(RA). Ruqiya(RA) accepted Islam in the early days and migrated to Madeena. Ruqiya-Usman(RA) had a son named Abdullah. Ruqiya (RA) left this world. She was twenty years old at that time. Utba, who married Ruqiya first, accepted Islam on the day of "Victory over Mecca".
A daughter Umm Kulsoom was born as the fourth child of the Prophetﷺ. She got married to Abu Lahab's son, Utaibat. He divorced her before the honeymoon. It was under the pressure of his father. Utaiba created many problems to the Prophetﷺ and later suffered its consequences. Ummu Kulsoom(RA) was given in marriage to Uthman(RA) after the demise of his wife Ruqiya(RA). It was Rabiul Awwal in the third year of Hijra. But that life did not last long. In the ninth year of Hijra, Ummu Kulsoom also left this world in Sha'ban. At this time, the Prophetﷺ praised Uthman(RA) and said, "If I had ten daughters, I would have given them in marriage to Uthman, one after the other."
